Goosewing Ranch
Jackson
A working ranch reborn as an isolated retreat deep in the Gros Ventre River Valley, the Goosewing marks the entry point to a protected, pristine wilderness. The Gros Ventre River, home to native cutthroat trout, runs through the meadows of this historic ranch. Our remote location allows for excellent horseback riding and fly fishing. We cater to all horseback riding ability levels and will match the appropriate horse to each guest. Afternoon activities include target shooting, archery, roping, and arts and crafts. Evening activities include line dancing, campfires, cookouts, and more. We also have a hot tub and beautiful newly remodeled outdoor heated pool.
| Capacity: | The ranch accommodates approximately 30 guests per week. |
| Open: | June 6th to September 26th, 2010 |
| Altitude: | At 7,400 feet, the valley is the host to some of North America's most spectacular game: deer, elk, moose, antelope, bear, eagles, geese, cranes, and more, not to mention fantastic scenery. |
| Location: | We are a small, remote guest ranch located 40 miles northeast of Jackson Hole, Wyoming in the Bridger-Teton National Forest and bordering the Gros Ventre Wilderness. Our remote location allows for excellent horseback riding, fantastic scenery, and many opportunities to spot wildlife. |
